Bulgari celebrated the opening of their flagship store in New Bond Street following refurbishment with a spectacular event.
The completed re-fitted store originated as two dwellings in the 1860s and had multiple conversions during its history. ACA worked with engineers from contractor Sice Previt to design the centrepiece marble stair and signature Bulgari two storey high bronze screens. The concept design was carried out by Peter Marino Architects supported by McDonald Architects in London. The interventions included a new lift shaft with associated underpinning to the party wall with the Royal Institution, strengthening of the existing listed timber floors to support marble, introduction of marble columns and extensive range of finishes.
This project was brought together by New York & London based architects, Milan based contractor, a Rome based client & Sevenoaks based engineers !
